I was watching a story on the discovery health channel on a 17 year old boy that weighed 400 lbs and did the bariatric surgery. It was quite amazing to see him go down to 180 lbs. One of the things that was extremely noticable was the amount of excess skin that he had. What exercises and remedies do you all recommend to be able to tighten up the skin. I know it is something that I will have to deal with (i.e. plastic surgery etc).

Also is there any downside to ab exercises for someone my size?

Thanks to all in advance for your suggestions.

Pilates for Dummies is a great workout..Also walking or working out in the water if you have a pool..Be gentle with yourself..Start very slow..No more than 5 min at a time the first week..then slowy build up your time..This is a journey not a race..
