Hi Lorena, I can't be much help about Armour, but I do know a group that can give you loads of help and advice about thyroid, as I have noticed that there doesn't seem to a large amount of traffic on this section, so you may have to wait a while for some info :

If it's not ok to give out the address on the site, can someone cut it please?

It is a support group for thyroid suffers who are tying to diet and they all seem convinced that low carb is the way to go for thyroid weight problems, so there will not be any conflict with this forum.

Let me know how you get on. :daze:

Hello,
I'm hypothyroid and take 0.075 levothyroxine daily for past 7 years. I have levels checked every six months. I asked my endocrinologist if that was causing my overweight. He said no. You shouldn't be fat. You're taking medication.

My GP is very into holistic natural therapies and she suggested Armour -- the natural one. My endocrinologist is against it because it is very difficult to find the correct dosing, and requires some experimenting and adjusting to get it just right. My GP said since I only take a small amount to stay on synthetic. That's all I know.
