I am learning so much- I bought her Diet Book and Living Well book- and have been learning all kinds of stuff that my DR failed to tell me 2 years ago when I was first diagnosed. In fact, it's been 2 years of steadily gaining weight, feeling sluggish despite HRT treatment...among other things.
I am feeling empowered: I am changing my eating habits, staying very lo carb and gluten-free, and I will also invest in some supplements. I hope that I can get my health back soon.
I still have so much to learn and different therapies/diet supplements to try- but I wonder how many people (like me) on this forum are hypothyroid and not being managed well by their physicians???
I am taking the assertive approach because I cannot live like this anymore.
