I keep reading lots of comments about Potassium. I am already taking multi-vitamins but am absolutely exhausted!

I bought some Potassium tablets today - there was no indication (and the pharmacist couldn't tell me) whether there was sugar in them or not.

So I bought them, surfed the net and found out that this brand are sugar coated! Is this going to be a huge problem? Can anyone recommend a brand (here in Oz) that has no sugar in?

Thanks a lot, Lucy

Lori (Squeezle) told me about this site, which I have used successfully. If you click in their product it will give you a breakdown of what is in it. They have a potassium supplement which is sugar free. Delivery takes about 2-3 days.

You should probably think about a calcium supplement also.

Hi, Lucy
can't help you on the potassium, but thought I'd make a comment on the energy part (or lack of!)
Despite Atkins raving aobut instant energy, I found that often during the first 11 weeks I would feel weary to my bones - not all the time, just for a wee while at a time. I likened it to other people needing a sugar fix after lunch, and decided it was my body eating some of my fat for energy (not sure if it was true, but it helped me get through it!) Checked out with doc at 11 weeks (I'd lost 11 kg by then), in case it was heart palpitations or something. He thought it was probably my body adjusting ot the new wayof eating and losing weight - tests were fine. Anyway, a couple of weeks later, it went away, and hasn't returned, and yes, I do have more energy now (no longer ready for bed at 8.30 or 9!)
Good luck, and hang in there (I'm belatedly starting on multi vitamins and vit c now - shoul have earlier, i know ...)
