Okay, so I started Induction on January 13, and it's going really well-- I'm losing weight, have more energy, cravings are gone, and all the wonderful stuff that the book says will happen. Happy, yay!

Until-- boom, TOM. The cravings didn't bother me, but I'm feeling totally sick and don't want to eat or see food (this is common for me, although not quite to this degree, during the early days of my TOM).

Normally a complete loss of appetite would totally thrill me. I'm just concerned because there was some concern (in my journal) that I wasn't eating enough (!!) and now I am eating even less than that. I don't want to throw my body into starvation mode and have it totally shut down and end up undoing my progress so far. But, yuck, I don't want to eat. I've been drinking almost 2 gallons of water/day.

Will reduced intake for several days hurt what I've done so far?

It's possible that this will tell your body that there is a famine happening which will make it conserve and protect your fat and slow your metabolism. Do your best to get some food in. Choose the things that are least offensive to you and go for it. Most likely once you get something in you you'll feel better too. You need the fuel to keep the fat burning going on.
