Has anybody ever tried a thyroid booster? Does it really help?

I just started exercising again and eating balanced meals but from past experiences I don't think i'll lose weight that much, as I was looking for something to give me a little edge.. has anybody ever had problems or any good results with this before:

I shy away from anything that 'stimulates' the thyroid. It's something you really shouldn't mess around with. I looked up the ingredients...

Tyrosine

Gugg stuff: (which they spelt wrong btw)

Not sure about the phosphates?

Just be careful as you could cause yourself problems. If your thyroid is slow, you should be medicated by your doc as no treatment for hypothyroidism is extremely dangerous and can, over time, be life threatening.

I'm hypo and am losing weight with enough exercise and a good enough diet. It's harder for us, that's for sure, but it's not impossible. :)

IF you're not losing weight on Atkins, and you are hypo, change to a different plan and see how that works for you.

There's absolutely no reason why a person with no health issues shouldn't be able to lose weight following a plan and exercise regime.
