:help: I have gained three pounds. I have been troubled with constantpation for the last three days. I have cut out cheeses, and eating more spinach and salad but nothing so far. I am miserable. I am afraid to eat anything.
Besides that I woke up to 8 inches fo snow so there goes my walk for the day. My little dog looked outside and turn it head like saying your kidding me out there.
I hope someone can give me advice and encouragement. I want so bad to go in there and eat a bowl of oatmeal with honey.

Sorry to hear about your troubles, Donna. Have you tried upping your water intake? That sure does the trick for me. If you don't like it plain, try a squeeze of lemon in it. Water should really help get things "moving". Worth a try, anyway. It also may help fend off those cravings. If you still have the urge to cheat, fight back with fat! That's what Andy taught me. A slice of cheese and a pat of butter. I like pepperoni with melted cheddar, myself. And it kicks the cravings in the booty every time.
Take care, Tama

Not that I'm any expert, but some find that lemon water, espically hot lemon water every morning helps to get things moving.
Beef slices have been good for me to fend off cravings
Good luck!

Besides upping your water intake, try sipping on some good olive oil. Doreen's article on intestinal health in LC tips at the top of the page gives you the lowdown on constipation.
Taking 1000 mg. of vitamin C every hour can also help until things get moving again.
