So I picked up some salmon oil today. I'm wondering whether it matters when I take it in the day and if I need to take it alone or with food. My bottle doesnt say.

Also, how long on average before people notice a difference with these?

I don't think it matters.

Makes the fish burps less of a problem.

How long depends on how much you take. I take about 10 caps / day (do the calorie math--that's what a tablespoon looks like) and I've taken it for ages. Can't tell. But if I miss, problems start appearing in a week or two.

I would recommend with food

with fish oil -- you don't really feel it after you start taking it. But your blood chemistry changes. And you feel it about two weeks after you stop.

I keep them in the freezer. Someone told me doing that prevents fishy burps as the capsules thaw after exiting the stomach.
