Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere, as I'm a brand-newbie. My job keeps me on the road A LOT, in hotels and the car. I'm not too worried about what to eat in restaurants; however, I wonder if anybody has suggestions for snacks.

I need snacks that DON'T require refrigeration, and so far this is all I have:

nuts (my one serving!)
pickles
celery
jerky (if I can find any without added sugar)

Any help is greatly appreciated!

You might want to get an insulated lunch bag. They are pretty cheap this time of year and you can use them to carry lettuce wraps, hard boiled eggs sf pudding cups etc. Now that I think about it, I had better pick one up for myself!

Yeah, an adition of a cool bag will help tremendously with your plan!!
Great idea Joes!!

You could bring along some tuna/mayo salad or some fresh veggies and a tub of hummus. It's real easy to find food to snack on if you have a cool bag!

I freeze my kids water in the bottle and it keeps their lunch cool till time to eat. This works better in the summer/fall or spring-winter they usually take hot food anyway. When it melts they have cool drinks.

v8 cans
SB bars (phase 2 I think? They don't sell them here)
olives
low-fat parmeggiano cheese

of course once you are in phase 2 there's a lot more you can have, like dried fruit and the like.
