I feel like this is ridiculous. I've been killing myself not to eat carbs and sugars for the last week and all I have to show for it is a .8lb loss, which appears to me to be part of the 3lbs that I keep fluctuating between and have been for the past couple of months. I think I'm eating the right foods and I'm pretty certain I'm eating enough. I've even started exercising with The Firm. Ugh!

Would you please post a few days menus...all the food you eat and how much water you drink each day. I'll be able to give you feedback if I can see what you've been eating.

Hang in there!!

ok, let's see...

every morning: 2 eggs (cooked all different ways), either 2 pieces of turkey bacon, or 2 pieces canadian bacon

snack: part skim mozarella stick

lunch: typically a couple of ounces of meat, celery w/ PB (ok, maybe I do have more than I really should have, but I don't think that's killing my diet!), plain FF yogurt w/ equal and 15 almonds (i have my afternoon snack at lunch cause I eat an early dinner),

dinner: either a salad w/ some chicken and ceasar dressing, or a couple more ounces of meat, with some cottage cheese, with a dessert of either that part skim ricotta recipe or sugra free popsicles.

I usually eat when I'm hungry, but not right before I go to sleep. I know I don't eat enough veggies, and for water everyday, I shoot for at least 32ounces. I'm a therapist, so it's hard for me to get back to the office and chug some water. hahaha. Although I try to make up for it when I get home.

Anyway, thanks for your quick reply. I'm off to work, so I'll check messages when I get back! :)

OK....lets see....
1- 32 ozs of water just is not enough and you will have to figure out a way to get more than that. A minimum of 64 ozs a day....seriously!!! :agree:

2- You need to get more veggies into your plan and also to change up your breakfast each day and try not to have eggs and bacon each and every day. You can have V8 juice instead of veggies for breakfast.

3- How much fish are you getting into your plan?
4- Are you using reduced fat dairy? Are you aware that we have a 2 cup daily dairy total? Including cheese?

5-Are you using the Meal Plan guide?
6- Nuts and peanut butter are allowed once a day....you get to pick when you have it but you cannot have PB and almonds in the same day.

It takes time to get all these things right and when you do, the plan works. Thats why alot of people post their menus each day, to make sure that they are doing the plan correctly. :)

Seriously, one of those really small V8's counts as a veggies? The one that I have is the low sodium one, and is quite tasteless to say the least. I bet it makes a good soup though.... ;)

Thanks for sharing your experience Tim!! :daze: Yes, 6 ozs counts as a veggie!!

I enjoy the taste and do spice it up to suit me....and I do not use the low sodium!! :) I put in hot sauce and worsteshire so it tastes like a virgin mary to me!! :yum:

I bet v8 and vodka would be a good drink ;) I could get a lot more veggies in that way.

I noticed tropicana has a veggie juice out now too, the commercial came on as I was writing my first post
