I'm on day 3 of Phase 2 and I've gained 3 pounds back!! And no, I haven't been going crazy on the new foods. I had a 1/4 cup of strawberries with my yogurt on Tuesday and the rest of the time I've eaten Phase 1 foods. I don't know what's happening, but if I keep going at this rate, I'll have gained back everything I lost by the end of the week. I'm going to go pout in a corner now.

Would you post a few menus? Are you pre menstrual? Have you been eating alot of salt/sodium?
After you tell me what you've been eating, I'll try to help. Relax...take a few deep breaths and we'll figure this out together...OK?

As Judy said, don't panic, there has got to be some reason for the sudden gain because eating 1/2 cup strawberries will NOT make you put on that much weight!
(((hugs)))
Menus, we need honest menus to look at - list everything that has passed your lips for the past 3 days and I'm sure there will be an answer there somewhere.
Just as a said note, Judy mentioned TOM - I put on anything between 2lbs and 5lbs the week leading up to my period and then have to wait for the TOM to go before the weight goes!

I know it's not PMS bloating. I'm not eating any more salt or sodium than usual. Here are my menus:
Tuesday: Plain FF yogurt with 1/4 cup strawberries, 2 slices of turkey bacon, small salad with vinaigrette; veggie burger, salad with olives and vinaigrette; grilled chicken, steamed broccoli; almond ricotta cream and a few nuts.
Wednesday: Omelet made with turkey bacon and spinach, vanilla steamer (1/2 cup LF milk with SF vanilla syrup); tuna and hummus on spinach leaves, iced tea; SF fudgesicle and a few nuts; cinnamon ricotta cream; Half of a grilled ground sirloin patty, salad with olives and vinaigrette.
Thursday: Plain FF yogurt with vanilla and sweetener, small salad with vinaigrette, 2 slices turkey bacon; tuna with hummus over lettuce; SF fudgesicle and 1 teaspoon SF peanut butter; grilled sirloin patty.
Then I weighed myself before my evening shower and if I'm going to be completely honest, I was so upset that I marched into the kitchen, ate 1/2 square of baking chocolate, a half a bag of mini Chips Ahoy, a snack size box of Sugar Smacks and about six spoonfuls of jelly straight out of the jar. I'm ashamed of myself and haven't had the nerve to weigh myself today...

Then I weighed myself before my evening shower I always weigh myself first thing in the morning, after peeing, before breakfast, wearing only the T-shirt I slept in. I have found that my weight fluctuates too much during the day to get an accurate result weighing in the middle of the day.
Try weighing yourself that way, then weighing yourself again later in the evening. You'll be amazed at how much "weight" you put on in the course of a day.

Yes, weighing at the same time every day is important. Your weight will fluctuate a good deal throughout the day. It seems best to weigh first thing in the a.m. after you got o the bathroom and before you eat or drink.

I never weigh myself at night as I will always weigh a few lbs more in the evening that I do in the morning. We all need to weigh at the same time each day and not at differing times of the day.
I weigh in the morning only...and only after I have been to the potty, if you know what I mean. ;)
I know how you feel and I hope that the next time the scale disappoints you, you will not punish yourself by eating jumk...OK? Please forgive yourself and lets just move on...get back to your plan. I really do not think that you gained 3 lbs based on what you are eating.
Watch the sodium content on the veggie burgers as they are frozen and can have too much sodium. Other than that, your menu looks fine to me.
So do tell us if you weigh in the morning only? ;)
