Every time I try to take measurements I get a different number. Maybe a sucked my tummy in unawares last time, maybe the tape wasn't in the same spot, I dunno what I'm doing wrong. I'm up half and inch here, down 1/4 inch there. If any of you measure, how do you do it?

nothing special, practise makes perfect :)
Sorry, but you will just have to do it over and over and over. It usually helps me to measure 3 times in a row and then get the middle number and use it.

If you register at www.mybodycomp.com, they have a drawing that shows you where to take your measurements. I refer to it all the time. It also helps to take them in a mirror so you can see where the tape measure is and that it's not drooping.

I also use that mybodycomp program, it shows you where to measure in a form of a diagram. I found it really useful to see where I should be aiming for with the tape, but as the others have said, practise makes perfect.

I did order some Myotape that should help tremendously with measuring, specially if you have to do it yourself.
If you don't know what it is google it, I don't think I have a pic anywhere. I should be getting it any day now, and let you know if it is easy to use.
Oh and I also have the Mybodycomp.com account to input my measurements.
