Hi Magy
Have you lost weight on induction? If so, you should really start gradually increasing carbs SLOWLY as it explains in Atkins book.
I wouldn't worry too much about keto stick readings, most low carbers now seem to feel they are not that accurate. The scales and a tape measure are better indications of what your body is doing.
I used them for about 3 weeks when I started last February but they aren't a necessity.

Hi! Glad to see you back! How did you do on induction?
Don't worry about the sticks at all. If by the 'full' ketone you mean the dark purple, you should probably never be that colour if you're doing this properly. It's a better indication of you being dehydrated.
Check out the OWL sectionof the Atkins book- you can start introducing more carbs now. I just ate more veg, which I'd really miss.If you get stuck, or fed up of bacon & eggs (never thought that would happen did you?!) check out the recipe sites.
Good luck! Daisy

Hi cocoabear & daisy, I have lost 6 pounds & my husband has lost 8 pounds. We have been so supprised at how easy it was, we have tried all the diets going and not lost 1 oz. So i think we will do what you say and start and introduce a little bit more carb. back in, Thank's a lot. :)

Make sure that the carbs you add back are the "good" carbs - more vegetables! It doesn't mean stuff like bread and pasta.
