I have just started taking L-glutamine today. I have been having some severe sugar cravings (unusual for me), and I have read that it will help heal a "leaky gut," which I think I may be dealing with.
But I became queasy (almost nauseated) about half an hour after taking 1500mg. Is this normal or common?

That sounds like a pretty big dose. How about taking smaller doses and with a meal?

I don't think that is a large dose, the recommendations I am seeing for cravings are 3-6 grams per day, wouldn't 1500 milligrams equal 1.5 grams? I was planning on taking 1.5 grams (1500 mg) twice a day.
Am I misunderstanding the math (wouldn't be the first time!!!)

Nausea was one of the only symptoms I read about and they said it was usually because of a large dose. Did you take it with a meal? That usually helps me if I've got something that might irritate my stomach.
