How many grams of carb is considered LC would like to know what people are having as an amount for meals and snacks I try to have no more than 30gm as a main meal and 15gms for snacks so it is around 90gms per day. Is this too high for a general LC diet

Well I am not sure... but Atkins uses 20 net carbs a day for 2 weeks and ups it 5 carbs a week after that until you stop loosing. Hope that helps!
Why not start a journal so others can find you and post to you?

25% or so is generally the max to be considered low carb. I don't know of any sort of concensus to validate this, but this is what I've gathered over the years. Your current intake is probably a little over 25% and once you hit goal weight, will be closer to around 40%.

90 grams of carbs wouldn't be considered low carb. If you are insulin resistant, you probably can't eat that many on maintenance. Probably more like 40 grams could be considered low carb by some standards.

Are you following any laid down rules?
Here is a link to a thread on the 'comparison' forum about the insulin resistance diet which might help if you are not sure what rules you need to follow for your chosen eating plan
