Ok, I'm about 9 inches from my goal (3 from my bust-waist-hips), but I still weigh 180 pounds! I'm only 5'6.5, so this is still pretty overweight for me. :( When I lose these last inches, I'll be a size 10 at 38-28-38, so this is really confusing for me. Last time I was a size 10, I weighed about 145-150. Because of my body type, a 10 looks like an 8 on me.

Also, I'm pretty sure it isn't muscle mass. I'm pretty muscular naturally, though not overly so (hourglass figure). I haven't started a formal exercise program yet.

Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong here? :help:

Get to a shape you like. See what happens. Revise your targets if you need to.

numbers are sometimes meaningless.

Yes, I suppose I'm just hung up on that high number. :( That's what my 6 feet tall father weighs. :(

oh, by the way, sizes are larger then they once were, i collect vintage clothes for fun, and when I wore a ten in 70's jeans i wore a 6 in modern jeans, that was a while ago, too  also I think on the low carb diets you lose more fat, as opposed to muscle, muscle takes up less space and looks better. I know I will look great when i get down to your weight  And as i lose I shall revise my goal weight depending on how I look and feel :)

LOL, I just turned 20 -- I was a 10 two years ago. :D But you're absolutely right about how sizes have changed -- people say that Marilyn Monroe was a size 14, but that was an 8-10 in her lifetime! :p
