I just read that nuts are to be introduced in phase 2. I have been eating cashews in phase 1 and I still have been losing some weight, is this possible?

What about boiled peanuts in the can? They only have 3 carbs, 0 sugars. and 2 grams of dietary fiber. What would be the total net carbs?

If you want to know anything on carbs etc then you can use fitday.com to punch stuff in.
I would have said, looking at that, they are 1 carb. You subtract the fibre from the carb total.
BUT I have to tell you that SB is not about counting carbs, it's about eating lower fat and as many of the GOOD carbs that are not limited as you like.
Look at the food lists like Tim suggests for answers to how much of things you can have.

Have you read the South Beach book yet? Did you see our updated food lists and meal plan charts? Tim was kind to bring you the info. Thanks Tim!! :)
We are allowed nuts in phase I, see the list for portion size per nut. We are allowed a nut portion once a day.
