I have been off the SBD for about two/three weeks now. I am amazed that I have not gained weight since I have been eating a lot of junk recently. However, I would like to go back on program and get rid of these cravings. It seems like there is always something that is "coming up" Like a Birthday, or a party or something like that. My question is it better to wait to restart the program on a week that I know I will not be tempted for weeks or do I start now and have a occasional relapse and eat sweets? Its harder to get restarted once off the program for a while!

Life will always be throwing you reasons to eat off plan....it is up to you to make the best choices possible under those situations.

My advice is to get right back to your plan and eat before your parties and or bring your own food to places where the food is iffy. I would not just give in and eat sugar just because it is there. You can do better than that for yourself. :agree:

I just celebrated my own bday and I did eat cake......but as of this past weekend, I'm back on my plan and happy for it. :D

I agree, if you are viewing Sb as a 'diet' then you are setting yourself up for a fall immediately.

You either have to give it your all 99% of the time, and occasionally have the odd treat, but then get right back on plan with the very next meal, which is the way this plan was intended... or you have to go all out for weeks with the plan and not go to any social events....(which is boring!! lol) and lose the 10lbs you need to, and then go off plan probably gaining them all back. The second option is a diet, the first a healthy workable way of living.

The choice is yours :)
