Today is day 9..and I was up a pound..I will try and not let it get to me..I went to the gym this morning and did my 45 mins on the treadmill and lifted weights. Maybe I need to NOT weigh again until induction is over? That might help. I was up slightly over 20 yesterday..but am back on track this morning...
Good luck to everyone....

... you could think of it as an additional pound of muscle. Wonderful, sleek, hungry muscle! Greet it like a long lost friend, invite it in and treat it well!

Laura,
I understand how you are feeling. I am also up a lb (well yesterday I think). I've been going to the gym, drinking my water, eating on plan... and still went up a lb. arrgghh
That is a great article that Karen sent in.. and I love the idea Brett that it is muscle..
Just wanted to let you know you are not alone..

Hi Tawnya,
You are right..it does help. That is one of the reasons I like this forum so much..everyone is so supportive of one another. I will keep going just like I have been..and I know it will come off..maybe not just as fast as I would like.. ;)
You keep up the good work!!

I was up four pounds the day before yesterday, and considered feeling discouraged, and not even writing it down. Then I decided to track it, and the next day I was down two of the pounds, then today another two.
I am just looking at it as part of the process, and part of daily weighing-in.
;)
