I went to the dollar store on Saturday for some party supplies and found some great crackers.
They were made by Champagne and they were whole grain crackers with flax seed. They take a little getting used to but I was wondering if anyone knows where to get these at besides there.

Try these, GG Bran Crispbread! They are amazing, with zero net carbs, only 16 calories per cracker, they are huge crackers too, and they taste great! I use them with cheese, as a pizza base, grind them to cheesecake crust and even crush them to use as a breakfast cereal. Find Them Here >

I really don't trust that those bran things are really 0 carbs. the fact they don't list ingredients makes me even more suspicious. Unless they are made from meat or fat, then they are not 0 carbs. Those 16 calories have to come from somewhere and 1g of protien is not 16 calories.

this topic about GG Bran Crispbread's has been addressed before and it was determined that they had 6 carbs and 3 fiber. the fiber on that label has already been subtracted from carbs.....the carbs listed is net carbs.

I tried that GG bran crispbread and I thought it was awful. I used to eat Allbran cereal so I thought I liked bran but not this stuff.

I think it's one of those tastes you either like or dislike JJ. The entire time I was loosing weight and still now, 1 of my favorite breakfasts is a tilapia filet on a GG bran crispbread topped with melted cheese. I eat 2 of those and I'm good to go.:yum:

I just purchased from www.low-carb.com a cracker called Grammy's Girl Sesame crackers. They are really good and are 6 net carbs for 9 crackers. I take these in my lunch with cheese or cream cheese. They are great - kinda plain by themselves though. They also make an italian flavored one. I also purchase from netrition.com something called a gourmet wafer crisp by kitchen table bakers. They come in all sorts of flavors (my fave is the everything) - they are made of cheese.
