Hi all,

I'm really avoidant about going to doctors. I'm hoping to find one who is supportive of LC. Is there a site somewhere that would list them? I'm in NYC if that makes a difference.

Thanks,
Squig

I Believe Dr. Atkins had a clinic in NYC. And I heard he wasn't the only LC Dr there, that there were others so it should still be open.

I would love to find one here in TX. I've meet few Dr. that agree w/ LC but their offices have moved.

1. I would at talk to just about everyone I know about their doctor. Ask people at church, work, child's daycare etc.
2. Call a couple of Dr offices and ask to speak with the nurse. Ask questions about the Dr's feelings advice etc.
3. I don't remember if you said you moved and were unfamiliar with the area or if your doc quit their practice, but you could possibly talk to your previous doc and get a recommendation.

If you're in a urban area you might try to find a low-carb support group or a low-carb speciality store and ask them.
