 Hi.
Someone from the main site recommended I come to the TDC so here I am.
I 'm at 255lbs. as of this morning and I'm looking for people to embark on this weightloss journey with. I really want to try to make a lifestyle change and not think of it as a diet. I'm pretty active even at this weight and I hate the limits the weight puts on me.
I'm here and I'm ready to work. I believe in teamwork and would love to have people to do this with. I keep crazy hours because I work and go to school but I have e-mail access everywhere so I will be checking in daily.
If someone has a team set up already I can join please let me know about it.
:agree:I will be using "Walk away the pounds" as my starting exercise routine which I will be doing DAILY (except Sunday). It's the 4-mi. version which runs 1 hour which I purchased at Walmart. One of my co-workers recommended it and it's great...low impact and the hour flies by.
I haven't really picked a specific LC diet. I want to try a lot of green veggies and portion control.
I've been looking at the other posts and wow  congratulations to all of you who have stuck with whatever worked for you.
I hope to be meeting some of you soon but I want to wish good luck to everybody out there who is in this struggle.
;) Karla

Get them out (WATP)! You won't be sorry. I did it tonight and it just feels good. Mile 3 is the best and 4 is a breeze.

You should be! Picture yourself at your goal, and you will make it!

BTW, I don't have the program, but do walk about 3 1/2 to 4 miles at a whack in the local Mall during the winter.....92 pounds gone and only 18 to go!

With your attitude and outlook, there will be no stopping you!

I wish you the best!
