Today is my day 19 on Atkin's / Celiac diet...(basically with celiac i can't have gluten, wheat, oats, barley and rye) so I added in the no sugar, dairy or fruit from atkins
ANYWAYS
Day 19 and 15 pounds lost, none in the past 2 days,
is there usually a stall after the first 2 weeks???
i'm staying on induction...however
i only have about 4 carbs a day
in my veggies, no extra's on anything
??????????????????????????????
normal little stall?

Hey there, be patient.......you have done really well with your 15 lbs down. Are you drinking plenty of water? Is your fat % higher than your protein? You can check this by getting an account from fitday.com and tracking. Getting in a walk each day (or some other exercise) has helped many people.

4 carbs??? You need more veggies!! There's a reason for the 20 grams of carbs allowed on induction - you need that much to maintain normal bodily functions. You may have put your body into starvation mode where it'll hang on for dear life to every ounce it can - give it enough food to function on and yes, enough water and exercise.
Having said that, I really believe that any WEEK (which is how often I weigh) that the scale is down rather than up is a good week!! I didn't gain my weight overnight and I don't expect to lose it overnight either. Also, check your measurements - sometimes we're building muscle while we burn fat so the scale doesn't change but our measurements sure do!

Hi I am newish to the boards but have been on and off Atkins for a year or so and I find that you need to have your veggies every day in order to help lose the weight. Pat yourself on the back for losing 15 lbs in such a short time. That's amazing!
