This is what the school "experts" are teaching / preaching to the kids is healthy and good to eat.

And I am of course telling my kids just the opposite.

It is amazing that they are so anti drugs, alcohol, and smoking on school property -- but they not only allow this -- but tell the kids it is good for them.

I've also posted what they are giving the poor kids (unfortunately mostly minorities) for free. And then they give the kids a hard time because the kids can't concentrate and sit still ???

Beat the experts - not the kids !

My god, its PACKED with carbs! The entrees are the worst! peanut butter and crackers are considered an entree? Id even call Cheese pizza an improvement on this stuff-at least they would be getting some protein.

And how do they get off saying these items have less than 35% sugar. who the hell are they kidding?

Rhonda, this is an opportunity to teach critical thinking with your kids. sit down with your kids and the menu, and look up nutrition info online over the internet, and work out the actual numbers. mamma always told me "dont believe anything you hear and half of what you see. "
