An easy dinner that speaks to the legions of low-carb eaters is what some call "Foil Packs".

1 package ground sirloin (much better than gr. beef)
1 bag frozen veggies (I use Winter Mix w/cauliflower & broccoli)
Butter
Garlic Salt
Other seasonings....(I like Montreal Steak Seasoning)

Take foil, cut 4 pieces.
Separate meat/veggies onto 4 foil pieces. (Be sure to uncrumble meat a little bit)
Season with spices, and about 2 tabs of butter each.
Bake in the oven at 400 for 30 minutes - check them, stir them up, put them back in for about 15 minutes.
(Or you can grill them on a grill or in the broiler).

They are soooooooooo good. The juice from the meat and the spices makes the veggies taste wonderful. They are very filling.

You can also use Chicken, Shrimp, Steak....I didn't think I would enjoy the ground sirloin but I truly do, it is great!

I love foil packs in the summer when camping. Toss it in the campfire turn it a few time and puff it is done!!! My Girl Scout troop makes these all the time!! No cleanup!! They eat right out of the foil!! Just remember to wrap it with an extra layer of foil.

Justclickd, Thanks for the wonderful idea for a quick meal. I wonder how stir fry vegetables would taste. Thanks again.
