If you mean a ticker such as the one in my signature, just go to www.tickerfactory.com :)
When you come to the end page, just remember that we are a vBulletin board, so just copy the contents of the box that mentions vBulletin, and paste it into your signature.

I knew how to get the ticker thingy but I wasn't sure how to get it put where I wanted it :) thanks for your quick response :) I love this forum :)

You've missed a bit. You could either go back and copy the whole of the box,
or you could just try adding [url] to the beginning of what you have.

I know it's frustrating, but don't give up. :) Go back and copy the contents of the box that says:

(Fertility Friend's Circles, phpBB, Invision Power Board, vBulletin...)

that is the one that I did highlight and then copy and then I went to the Quick link and added it to my signature

You've definitely missed a bit from the beginning, so I would suggest you go back to the site and copy the box again. :)
