I have the New Revolution book, few years old if not more. Is that the one I should 're-read' or is there a newer one out?
Thanks

i believe the "dr atkins NEW diet revolution" that was revised and updated and released by various publishers between 1997 and 1999 encompasses all aspects of his plan. that would be the the one to read or re-read IMHO

I think the older the issue the better! (Before Atkins Nutritionals decided to push their products).

Me too, I prefer the old one, so I wouldn't worry wasting your money on the newer version.

Oh good, ironic, I was just thinking the same thing about the older version. Its what I lost on so well back in 2003, and now beginning again after the birth of my son. Thanks a lot everyone :)

The paperback edition I have is from 1992, 1999. No references to manufactured foods. Reliable guide book. Mine is getting fuzzy around the edges from constant reference, and is color-coded with stickies.
I also have my original pb edition from 1973. It's quite a different book. The celebrities mentioned in it have mostly faded from view, and not because of low-carbing.
Still...if I had actually taken it seriously in 1973, I wouldn't have struggled so hard to arrive at goal--thirty years (and probably thirty different diets) later.

LOL bkloots! My book is from I think 92 as well. And boy talk about ragged edges, and yellowed pages lol. Have a great evening :)
