Hi, I'm new and I've never associated my yeast infection...the morning spit that leaves leg trails...the VERY Fowl smelling bowels (which i still have NO clue why this happens) to be candida.
I know I do have IBS-- have always had them when I was a child--if I'm not constipated, then I'm diarreha'ing. Now, somehow I've managed to get my bowels straightened up...now I poop normally--well, for me it is. However, it Stinks...like there's some chemical coming out of it. Not the normal bowel stinch, but...like it's coming from a chemical plant and can be dangerous to inhale --THAT KIND. I always am embarrassed to go to the loo/bathroom anywhere, and I always bring airfreshener when I go out.
Yeast infection-- That NEVER goes away...well, it does...but comes back within a week or 2 or 3. I can't seem to STOP it long enough-- no medicine helps.
What do I do now?

Keep with your diet, and get yourself an antifungal, or maybe two.
I like Agricept, its a combination of different citrus extracts. I would put 15 drops in a glass of water 3 times a day and drank that. If you can't find it,or are trying to keep your costs down, plain grapefruit seed extract (GSE) will work, too.
Oil of Oregano is good too, and it comes in an extract you can put in water as well. Same deal: 15 drops, 3 times a day.
Since your yeast seems very stubborn, you might want to get them both and alternate the days you use each. Do this for a month, Also, take some Psyllium fiber 1-2 times a day to absorb the dead yeast, to help with the die off, the sickness people tend to get when mass amounts of yeast die in them. You might want to try a digestive enzyme as well.
If you still get die off with the fiber, then reduce your dosage of your antifungal to half, 7 drops a day, 3 times a day, and work up to the full dose.
When the month is up, get yourself a probiotic. The reason you wait a month, is that you are using so much antifungal, you may kill off the probiotics. Also the probiotic will work better once you have the yeast more under control.
I like Ultimate Flora Max 50 Billion. The first few times you use it you might get some serious gas and discomfort, but this will pass as you get used to it. If its truly unbearable, try a weaker probiotic.
Don't take your antifungal for a few hours before or after taking it. You also can reduce your antifungal dosage to once a day.
My method is to take the probiotic first thing in the morning, and take the antifungal before I go to bed.
I'm not saying my method is a cure-all, but it really worked for me. I didn't really know if I had serious candida, but I got oral thrush from some antibiotics and decided to try a natural treatment, as perscription antifungals are scary and take as long as the natural stuff. Not only did my thrush go away, so did my thickend toenails and I have been less gassy.
I'm sure there are other methods of eliminating candida posted on this site if this one does not work for you.
Good Luck!

Really stinky BM's is often a sign of gluten intolerance. You might want to read more here (http://www.celiac.com/st_prod.html?p_prodid=6&p_catid=2&sid=91hH9H1G158c3GX-18105321319.90)

But what if you haven't ingested any gluten and they're still stinky?

You've checked all foods and vitamins and drugs you're taking? Gluten is found in crazy things like soy sauce, beer (boo hoo), low carb baking mixes, sauces, dressings, processed foods, vitamins, drugs and so on even the glue on envelopes and stamps. If you're sure you're not getting any, then it probably isn't gluten!
How about milk products?

Thank you nancy, you've actually got me very curious...I checked many sites out including the one you posted. Sadly, I display quite a few of those symptoms. I'm wondering if years of being eating disordered can actually cause celiac disease/gluten intolerance. I may bring this up to my doctor on my next appointment for weight check.
thanks,
Jen
