Hi
I started taking metabolift as was told it would speed up my weight loss (this was before I started Dr Atkins and before my wedding) i discovered that in small doses it gives me energy and enables me to get through the day - i sufferfrom terrible fatigue dont know why. Also because I am less tired I dont get a migraine every day.

Thing is though I just visited a page with info on the product and am now a bit worried health wise ( i also have thyroid problems) and am wondering if apart from being very bad for me whether these pills are inhibiting my weight loss. I have verying reactions to the pills when I take them, sometimes nothing, sometimes a little energy and sometimes I get very hot and flushed. Ive tried taking ginseng alone and with l-something (dont remember) and they just dont work.

Ive included the link to the page and would be very grateful for any advice or ideas any of you might have

Thanks

Hey,

I don't know exactly what Metabolift is, but have read (don't remember where), that in general, products with ephedra and like products will react oppositely to what they are intended if you have thyroid problems. I have Hashimoto's Disease and have tried ephedra based products and actually gained weight. So, for me, the things I read must be true.

I'd love to hear what works for other people with thyroid problems. I'd also heard that people with thyroid problems should eat high protein, anyway.

Hi, i also have H.T and find it really hard to lose weight . I was taken off thoroxine about 2 1/2 months ago. I think that this was because this diet has improved my thyroid function immeasurably, my doctor is sceptical.

i am losing very slowly but that is ok by me at least i am losing after years of getting bigger and bigger.

i know that if i excersize more then the weight loss would be faster but i am really happy the way it is going anyway.

taking suppliments such as potassium, chromium and l-glutamine regularily is very important.I think that a little thyroxine would probibly help but i dont want to take any in case my own production of it shuts down, i have been told this can happen.

i have started to notice that i am losing a bit of hair though. I will probibly get it checked sometimes soon
