I know I get both improved health and weight loss from with WOE. But I'll admit, the turtle loss this year wore me down, and I eventually experimented too much in ways that led me back to carbs for awhile. Having been off carbs for weeks again, I'm vividly remembering all the great other benefits of LC: moods much much better, no dandruff, flatulence, pimples, more energy, etc.

Yep, it'd be nice to be a size 8 and win all that such a body type gets in our society...but I don't know that this will ever again happen to me. Nevertheless, it dawned on me this week that,
even were I living in a world where fat women were worshipped, I'd still rather eat LC because of how good it makes me feel.

I want to keep my focus there, and not on the weight loss. The loss will come at its own rate.

Thanks for listening to me!

I applaude you! I am glad to hear someone say they like the way the feel. Feelings are so much more important that appearances. I have a long way to go to reach my goal and truly be happy with myself. But I know I am on the right track! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Do you have a journal???
