I have seen several posts where people are using this protein powder in bake mixes and recipes while LC'ing. I have done some research on it and bodybuilders use it to GAIN muscle. for those of you that use this product, have you had problems losing with it or having it interfering with your diet in any way?

Adequate protein is necessary for muscle maintainence as weill a growth. I used the protein powder for breakfast shakes when I was in the weight loss phases of Atkins. It caused no problems.

3 or 4 mornings a week I drink a whey protein shake for breakfast. I lose slowly so I can't say either way about the weight loss. I mix a scoop with a cup and a half of water and a quarter cup of psyllium husk and add extra sweetener either with davinci or a packet. Many people don't like the texture of psyllium husk but I actually do. The effects on regularity are super.

I tried several times to make bakery things with protein powder, they all went right into the trash. Something about the chalkiness of it was a turnoff to me. Atkins bake mix is soy protein, I think I could learn to like it, if I was in a plane wreck, stranded on a desert island with absolutely nothing else to eat.

The shake that I made was a scoop of the powder, a cup or so of ice cubes, a quarter cup of frozen berries, some sweetener, some water for desired thickness and put it in the blender and blend.

I occasionally added some ground flax seeds.

Baking with DWPP can be a dream, IF you add enough moisture and fat: pumpkin, zucchini, butter and nut flours work well together with DWPP. I use it and almond flour often in place of wheat flour to make dense cakes and 1-minute microwave cakes.

I've been adding a protein shake on lifting days. I use 4 oz heavy cream, 4 oz water, some liquid stevia, and berries. I had been at a stall for a long time. I'm not sure if this has contributed to my recent slow losses or not, but I'm planning on keeping it up as long as I loose.

I didn't use them as meal replacements, but as a snack. Didn't notice any problems with weight loss. In fact, it kept me full between lunch and dinner (a VERY difficult time for me) and kept cravings away.
