Not during the weightloss stages. For some, they can add small amounts back in during maintenance. HTH and welcome to the forums!

Thanks. I'm glad to be here. I need a lot of support. This is so hard. I'm still in the induction phase, and I have the entire list of Acceptable foods... but I'm ready for a big bag of chips or popcorn or something!!!
I noticed that pork skins don't have carbs. I may have to cheat a little with them. I just can stand this!!!

Pork rinds are an acceptable food. I like to dip them in cheese. But be careful with them because they have a lot of salt which cause some people to retain water.

Try frying an ounce or two of cheese in a fry pan, let it cool and break into pieces. A yummy AND crunchy snack.

Check the ingredients. If you see sugar, dextrose etc, I wouldn't eat them during induction.

Those should be okay....look at the ingrediants. If it says sugar or anything like that then I would stay away. But, you'll have to check the list.

Pork skins are allowed on induction. Eating them is not cheating.

If you like pepperoni you can microwave some slices for 30 seconds or so to make crunchy chips. Good if you are in a bind and don't care for pork rinds!

I like turnip fries. Someone will have to chime in and tell you if they are okay on induction. I just cut up a turnip like fries and drop them in the fry daddy. I thought I was missing the potato but I realized I missed the fried grease flavor. They are not as stiff as a french fry but they do the trick for me! I think they are awesome!
