I am a week into returning to Induction Phase and am experiencing a lot of hunger and wonder why since that is not supposed to happen. Any words of wisdom from my fellow dieters? I am not eating beef, too hard on the tummy and very little bacon. Thanks. Elinor :)

Elinor I wonder if you're eating enough? I just started two days ago and have been adding fat to things on purpose, like frying eggs in butter. Today I had salmon with mayonnaise and I was totally stuffed. Maybe eating more frequently would help also. Good luck!

elinor, can you post a typical menu? Maybe there are hidden carbs there, or not enough fat, or like nawchem said....not enough food.

Also, the body does not recognize the difference between hunger and thirst. Both will feel like hunger pangs. Maybe you need to drink more water.

(I learned that in Weight Watchers. See, it did do SOMETHING for me!)

Hello!
 Thank you so much. I had no idea hunger and thirst were perceived like that. I am drinking less water and will definitely mend my ways. Although I know about the 8 glasses a day rule, our water here is abominable and bottle water is more effort but obviously worth it. I have some fats included in my diet so I don't think that's a problem and the amount I eat doesn't relieve the hunger so by deduction it must be the water. This information will help me stay motivated. :agree: Elinor
