OK, I am nuts but I spent some of my birthday money on a CASE of Davinci syrup.

I bought several gingerbread ones for Christmas gifts and then just a variety of other sinful flavors.

I am so excited, I have too many favorites: :yum:

gingerbread
eggnog
white chocolate

What is your favorite?

I currently have Amaretto and French Vanilla in my cupboard. I use it in my coffee and in my yogurts as well as I flavor my Wheat germ cookies with them.

You totally just reminded me that I should go on the website and try and get some great holiday flavors.

I usually just pick them up at TJMaxx for like $5.95. But I may splurge for the better assortment of flavors.

I love cookie dough! I'm with Ms Twacky. I'm considering buying some online too. Besides vanilla, hazelnut, etc., I have a hard time finding the more exotic flavors in my area.

I tried caramel and vanilla. Both are great! I think I'll try kahlua tomorrow. I have gingerbread, marshmellow, and white chocolate coming. I can't wait!!

I tried the carmel and ended up throwing the bottle away. Of all of the flavors I have tried, that was the most "artificial" tasting. I don't know if they have TJMaxx or Marshalls in Canada, but I see the Carmel flavor everytime I go to either one, and they are cheap, about $5.99.

Obviously to each his/her own. Hopefully you will like the carmel and it may mix well with other flavors. I personally just could not get past the artificial taste.

Can anyone tell me what Dulce de Leche is like? Is it kind of like caramel?

I've heard lots of people mention it and I'm looking for something new to try.

Nevermind, I found it out on Davinci's site:

Dulce de Leche: Literally "candy of milk", the South American delicacy made by caramelizing sweetened condensed milk over very low heat.

Hmm... I'm tossed... I don't know what to get.

How about adding it to some Knox unflavored gelatin. I have been thinking about ordering Watermelon and using it to make gelatin. I don't ever see that flavor in any stores.

I haven't tasted the syrup of Dulce de Leche, but I have had real Dulce de Leche and it is one of the most rich incredible flavors I have ever had. Like a mild caramel flavor but very, very creamy.

Terrific idea!!! I'm so glad I asked. I ordered mine from their website.

Somewhere on this site someone (sorry can't credit you - but thank you!) gave the idea of mixing LC peanut butter and ricotta cheese with vanilla to get a fluffer nutter thing. I add toasted marshmallow flavor divinci and have a protein and fat rich breakfast that tastes like a fluffer nutter. If you haven't checked out the bowl muffin thread do so immediately - you can mix carbquick or almond flour or flax seed with various flavors and make instant microwave muffins - awesome.
