I have been on pro-biotics for 1 week and I think the results are wonderful. I have suffered for 5 years from some strange and painful eruptions under my arms. Every time I shaved my under arms I would suffer painful sores, swelling, and oozing from the eruptions. My under arms have dried up and there is no pain!!! It is amazing (to me) that this has worked! I still can't believe that the pro-biotics worked, I just know what I feel and see.

Just wanted to share.

I have had the same experience. I was broke out all under my arms with excema. I went on Atkin's a while back, and as an added bonus all the excema disappeared.

Did your under arms hurt? I mean bad. Did you have it anywhere else? Mine have been great since the second day on Pro-biotics and the 4th day of the diet. It is such a relief.

Cocoa, Pro-biotics put back the good bacteria that antibiotics destroy. I had an overgrowth of yeast in my body and it was causing many problems. The Pro-biotics helps control that.

No they, but the skin under my arms sort of stung/burned. Everyone's symptoms from yeast always seem to be a bit different. So, what kind of pro-biotics are you on, may I ask? The ones I have been taking haven't really done much of anything. I have a 16 year problem with yeast. I have been using three lac, now I'm back on the yeast control diet too. Glad to hear you're having such good success with what you're using.

I am using Acidophilus. I got it from GNC and am happy with it. I suffered for so long with this crap. Every time I would shave under my arms I would have a horriblr reaction. Also, I got painful mouth sores often, strange red patches that flaked and itched. It was awful! I guess the combination of diet change and Pro-Biotics has worked.

Atkins and South Beach kill the Candida that's over grown in your system due to the lack of yeasts and sugar. I've read about it in the book and I'm so pleased it seems to have worked for you. I hope you keep on with it and keep it under control.

New studies indicate that taking probiotics may help ward off the flu ;)

I swear, if I do not loose another pound I will continue not to eat sugar and yeast (breads).

Thanks for the support too, it is nice to know that there are people who know what I am talking about.

I also get a rash in the arm pit that drives me crazy. It gets very itchy, then if I scratch it, it starts to look reddened and inflamed, and turns to a stinging/burning sensation. The flare ups seem to come at certain points of my menstrual cycle. Probiotics have never done a thing for me unfortunately. Glad you found something that worked for you.

Amazing what cutting out little things like flour and sugar does for one, isn't it? For years one of my daughters had horrid flakes in her hair. We tried all kinds of various topical applications and the best any could do was to keep the flakes at bay. Within a month of low-carbing, she was flake-free! The only time she has a flare-up now is when she eats something with a little corn syrup or real sugar. So far she's even been able to eat an occasional piece of bread without problems.

I have a sister who is diabetic and suffers a lot of skin ailments, not just in the armpits but anyplace she has crevices--she blames them all on allergies, which to some extent is true. She says all diabetics have yeast problems yet won't even begin to believe me if I tell her something could be related to the obvious yeast problem she has. She'll die before she'll give up sugar and flour.

Hey everyone. I started taking Candex with good success. The most important thing is to take it on an empty stomach. Hope this helps you guys.

Anybody suffer from thick discolored toenails? I have since college. I actually had a painful ingrown toenail removed ten years ago. Doctors claim Lamasil is the only drug that will work and it can harn the liver. Well guess what? Get rid of the yeast and the toe nail problem goes away too.

Yeah, I got a oral thrush from antibiotics and decided to treat it naturally with Agrisept (GSE and other citrus extracts) and probiotics. I've had thicked toenails for over a year, and this got rid of them.
