Hey all,
I am a new member, I found this site through some research on google.
I looked at some of the people posting and I understand the answers but I didnt see my exact one.

I have been working out for the past year. I have always weighed 230 pounds (up and down) during this period. I once weighed 265 but lost 35 in a single summer just running.

I figured I would diet while working out. That didnt work since I was always hungry and felt like I was starving myself and as soon as I started eating normally, I gained all my weight back.

So about 6 months ago I started weight lifting regularly. I have not lost weight but I see huge results on my body.

Here is my problem, if I do cardio before I work out, I feel a lack of energy so I tend to skip. I eat protien meals. Mostly tuna sandwich, chicken, lamb and fish. I eat complex carbs like fruits and vegetables to keep the vitamin levels up.

Also, about 3 weeks ago I stopped drinking protien and have now gone to eating lean meat after a workout. I drink creatine for the boost while working out and do require it for achieving results.

I feel like I cant loose this weight while im gaining muscle. I can only go to the gym monday-friday and I have specific workouts for each day.

Now I think a possible solution is to cut the amount of food intake by taking protien bars which are sized. Which do you guys recommend from expierence?

I am also considering doing cardio after a workout but I do not know if it is a good idea has I have heard that u need to eat after a workout and if you skip that initial period to intake, your results will be slim to none.

What do you guys think I can do?
All replies will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Gene

Have you tried the CKD? Do cardio after weights and check out TrainerDans sticky on the specific exercize plan forum. I think he will adress all of your questions. Also if you feel like spending alot of money NO2 is pretty good for gaining mass and losing fat.

The general advice is to not do cardio before weights. Do it after, or on the days you don't lift. You can totally lose weight while gaining muscle, but i think you need to find a way to include cardio.

I agree that you should only do light cardio after a work out. You will be using lean muscle mass for energy. by doing cardio before weights you are simply reducing the amount of glycogen available that could have been used more effectively to fuel your muscles through the weight training session that is better for long term weight loss. If you are looking for a supp that helps with catabolism of the muscle and helps with weight loss. I would try C2 or cAMPHIBOLIC from http://www.synergymuscle.com/catalog it has really helped me. You need to remember that losing a lot of weight and trying to gain muscle mass is very hard to do since if not done right or with the right help you will burn lean muscle mass.

Hey good luck
