I cant seem to keep my hands off it lately! It says no carbs but it just tastes so naughty! :yum: :yum: :yum:
Has anyone had stall problems with this? I drink diet coke all the time and it doesnt seem to effect me so Im hoping that this is pretty much the same!
What do you guys think?

I know there was something about diet mountain dew having some kind of juice in it and to stay away, but I don't remember anything against DP
Course it also means less water you consume which can have consequences, esp since low carb is a duretic diet as is.

I thought the thing with Mt. Dew was the caffeine. (more than coffee?)
I remember someone saying a long time ago that Dr. Pepper had prune juice in it, but don't know if that's really true or not.
I will be watching to see what others say.

Citric acid might be the culprit in the Diet Mountain Dew. I think that causes some to stall. I never had a problem with it, and I think most people don't but it has been known to cause some stalls. I think a lot of diet sodas contain it too. Diet Rite cola **I believe** is citric-acid free.

How much sodium are in these drinks? Wouldn't that cause water retention as well?

You're melting away, and for your size, I am impressed at how quickly you are losing. Looks like Dr. Pepper is doing right by you. :-)

I just got into drinking it over the past few days here but Im trying to stay away from it! I made some decaf tea with splenda, which I think is better than the DP. The reason I am losing so quickly is because I am doing a meat and egg fast. And trust me, nothing about me is going to melt away anytime soon! When your 5'2" tall, 130 looks like way more than it should!
