I am so excited that I have been able to move the large weight on the scales down for the first time. I struggled last week due to some high stress situations at work. However, I was able to stick with it when my coworks reached for ice cream, cookies and other high carb items to soothe them. It was so hard and I was and am craving carbs but I just try to make it to the next meal without any. I want pancakes this morning so bad but am not going there. I see an omelet in my near future instead. Maybe it is enough to see the loss on the scales for now. Well, I just needed to share with some folks who would understand. Hope you are all well. Congratulations, both on your new weight and on nixing the pancakes! As long as there's progress -- no matter how you measure it -- it doesn't matter how long it takes.

Thanks for sharing! It's these small challenges and victories that we all face every day.

Congratulations! You broke the 300 barrier and are on your way down! :)

I know it's a struggle - today, my coworkers are having a birthday party for one of us, so there's cake and fudge and ice cream - thank God I'm going to be working with a kid during the time they set for the cake and ice cream! It is so hard, though, not to give in....still that carb/sugar addiction talking.

Hang in there! Just look at how much we've lost so far!
