Anyone know why there doesn't seem to be any chocolate yogurt?
This seems to be a serious oversight in the yogurt market.

That might taste good, but dairy actually prevents the
absorption of cocoa phenolic compounds. From the nutritional
point it would be a useless invention. It is better to eat
cocoa products (dark chocolate) and dairy at different times.

Well, cocoa probably has a lot more than phenolic compounds.
If your logic was correct, chocolate milk would be a useless
invention too.

But it tastes so good :)

I am adding coconut powder to it as well. Perfect mix.

Maybe it is because the yogurt people are selling what
they tout as health food. Chocolate doesn't really fit
that category.

Frozen "yogurt" is often chocolate flavored.

The dairy industry will sell anything they can now.
Consumption is below the 1945 level.

Cocoa has minerals also but the phenolic compounds are the
healtiest components.

You mean the ones they make plastic compounds from?

There used to be chocolate yogurt made. The brand was Kissle,
or something like that. It was supposed to be the only yogurt
that wasn't sour. This was probably about 14-15 years ago. I
remember my nephew eating it when he was a toddler and he'll
soon be 17. I don't think that brand is around any more. I
haven't seen it.

Yes. My son was allergic to them years ago. Plastics are made
from some of these compounds.
