Hello!

Has anyone ordered low carb products from a website called the low carb connoisseur? Their web address is http://www.low-carb.com.

I am wondering whether they are reliable and whether their shipping is expensive. The website doesn't provide shipping rates - instead, it just says shipping cost is based on the weight of the order. I don't want to place an entire order just to find out that they are very expensive!

I ordered from them several times in 2003 (my 1st attempt at LC) and was very happy with their service. On the orders that I had shipping was around $6 - some items we ordered (Think Thin bars) required a cold pak which I think was $3. Because of our location relative to Greenville SC, our orders came overnight for the standard shipping rate! (same UPS zone)

On one order, we got free shipping because it was over $100... you might call to see if they have any specials like that.

Netrition.com has flat rate shipping of 4.95 no matter how heavy your order is. Love them!

I have heard good things about Netrition... it just happened that they never had the products in stock that I was ordering or in one case, the total price including shipping was still less then with Netrition.

Based on personal experience I would advise Qmass to shop & compare :)
