Hi everybody,

Does anybody know if Soy Slender soymilk is ok for phase 1? I bought chocolate flavor, hoping something could help my chocolate cravings. :yum: One serving is 70 calories, 3g fat, 5g carbs, 4g fiber, and 7g protein. I have never drunk soymilk before, and I may wind up hating it, but I'd hate to blow phase 1 over something I didn't like anyway. If anybody knows anything about this product, I'd appreciate your input.
Thanks,
Cheryl

Day 9 of phase 1, so far so good...

MILK/DAIRY
MILK/DAIRY

Low-fat milk (fat-free and 1%)
Fat-free 1/2 & 1/2 (less than 2 tablespoons)
Low-fat plain, vanilla, or sucralose-containing soy milk (4 grams of fat or less per 8 ounce serving). Be sure the product does not contain high fructose corn syrup
1% or fat-free buttermilk
Fat-free plain yogurt

This comes from the official Food list for South Beach. You can get to it through the link in my signature.

Soy milk is OK as long as there is no sugar in it.

Thanks, I must have missed that. This has Splenda, so I guess it's ok. I tried it last night and it wasn't bad. Not as chocolately as I'd hoped, but better than nothing. Between this and sugar free fudgicles, I think I'll make it at the Beach. :)
