I have to attend some trainning for the company I work for and they have all kinds of things planned...from bowling/pizza dinner one night to boxed sandwich/chips lunches. How does one stay on track when this is an problem? Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can take...SB meal replacement bars/ shakes etc so I won't fall off the wagon sort of speak.
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks! Robin

Try and eat before you have to go out. Also take your sb bars with you. As for the pizza, maybe get a carry out salad to take with you, and just eat the toppings off the pizza. Look for a veggie tray too. I know I have to drink extra water as eating out food has so much more salt.

Just make the best choices you can. and enjoy all your events.

Speak up and say you have some dietary requirements and can some thing be made available. I have yet to be refused an alternative, the alternative might not be my favorite but it's usually better than the other stuff.
Are you driving, flying there? If you can, pack a cooler and bring some stuff. As long as it's not too warm you should be able to live out of a cooler.

I agree with BigTed. Tell them you have an allergy to wheat. That rules out sandwiches, pizza crust, baked goods, etc. and you won't have to explain that you're dieting. I can't imagine that they wouldn't accommodate you especially if you let them know ahead of time.

My husband does a lot of traveling and carries pistachios and the little 'to-go' packages of Crystal lite to fight off any snack cravings.

I agree with telling them you have a wheat allergy. Another option is Subway LC wraps. There is ALWAYS a Subway nearby.

I have used the "wheat allergy" excuse and find that places are usually cooperative when you say that.
