Bless your soul Karen...comfort food. I'm a huge soup lover, and have a half a freezer full of home made liquid comfort that is off limits until I can figure out what to do with it. All week I've been fighting dipping into it.

Egg drop soup was one of my grandma's best. Your recipe sounds even yummier. I'm off to cook up a batch with some frozen chicken stock that just happens to be handy. Yippee...I can have soup again at lunch to warm up my cold toes!!!

:yay:

If they are clear stock or tomato based, why don't you drain off the liquid and use it?

The soups are too thick and full of other stuff like chicken, carrots, celery, but some picking through to get rid of most of the noodles could salvage some of it. I've also tried pawning it off to a girlfriend at work who is lazy cook and is very receptive to free give aways. ;)

Just tried your egg drop soup and it is delicious. :D
