I have the original DIABETES SOLUTION book, and the recent DIABETES DIET book. Is it worth it to get the new edition of the DIABETES SOLUTION? I couldn't imagine that it would have that much new information in it.

Maybe you could get the new one first from the library and see what you think. I don't have the new one, so can't advise.....sorry.

Off topic, where do you do your sailing? We love sailing also and sail out of San Francisco bay - brought the boat back from Mexico a year ago after 6 seasons in Mexico and planning to go back next October (2006).

We sail in the Chesapeake Bay. We live in Maryland.

We have sailed our boat down the ICW and back three times, gone to the Bahamas twice. and once thru the Keys. We have chartered in The Sea Of Cortez, Belize, The Windward Islands twice, Guateloupe, and other places.

Nice to meet a sailorette from the other coast. The best to you!
