Hi everyone,

Recently I have upped my jogging duration to 30-40 minutes and each time i end my treadmill session....I experience bleeding. Which i thought it could be an early period....but it just bled for a while and stopped.

In fact I tried to keep lower carb as well....prob it could be a change in my diet....

Has anyone experienced this before? What should I do?

My prev 3 years of jogging 10 min doesnt lead me to bleeding...

I've had the irregular bleeding too. I was getting a light period about two weeks after my regular one. I went to the doctor and she said that it could be just from losing weight and my body adjusting.

I personally think it has something to do with the low carb because I have lost a lot of weight in the past and did not have this experience.

I was so stressed out about it that I even phoned the Atkins hotline. They had never heard of this problem, but others on this forum have experienced this as well. Apparently in a few months time, our bodies will adjust and our TOM will return to normal. I don't know because I went off low carb after about two months because this whole thing freaked me out. I am back on the low carb (and working out) and I had some mid-cycle spotting this month.

Don't worry, though, a lot of women experience this problem (even when they are on birth control!)
