Hi all.

I hope that this post is the only place you will find Cocoa and Bovril together :exclm:

A quick thank-you to Bez for the sample of Keto Cocoa (hot chocolate drink) that she bought to the park last weekend. I've now got some from the Low-Carb Shop on www.low-carbdiet.co.uk . It is quite expensive ~ £5.95 a tub but as a treat on a cold winters evening is soooo nice.

I've also just looked and discovered that a mug of Bovril is only 0.5g Carb. (Another winter warmer).

Keep smiling :daze:

Hi Ken,

Glad you enjoyed the Cocoa and thanks for the info on Bovril, it's something I've not ever bought but I like the taste of oxo's and would think they are smilar - Can you use it as a gravey substitute?!...I'm off to buy some tomorrow anyway.

Also, I think you were trying to send me a PM and it was full, if you'd like to try again then I think I've cleared it although I've had problems with PM's ever since I first joined so don't hold your breath?!!!

Take care and a big 'HELLO' to Margaret from me (I bet you'll be shouting that on down the stairs to her).

Bez

Hi Bez

As far as I know you can use Bovril as a gravey substitute (although I'm no great cook) because you can buy it in cube form like oxo as well as in a jar.

Don't worry about the PM I tried to send, it was only to ask if you minded having your photo from last weekend displayed on the forum. (I assume it's OK as it's been there for a week now :) )

Margaret says HI

Keep smiling :daze:
