:) hey everyone :) ! ill be starting south beach soon and i need help because i dont noe what i am going to do for lunch during phase one. :q: i certainly cant eat the cafeteria food at school, so does anyone noe of something fast and easy that i can pack for lunch to bring to school? i would bring a chicken breast or something, but my lunch time is very short and it is just too much of a hassle. as of now, all that i can really think of to bring is those little prepackaged peices of fat-free cheese and some peanuts lol. thanks guys!

how about a salad from home and add a dressing right before you eat it and you can add a small can of water packed tuna to it, or some precooked chicken strips. Hardboiled eggs (you can stick them in the freezer already cooked the night before, so by the time you would eat lunch they should be thawed out). Any steamed veggies in the cafeteria, SF Jello are a few I can think of right now.

Brown bagging is the only way to go and you save alot of money. A salad with some form of protien is a good option. You can get tiny containers from companies like tupperware to carry your dressing in or you can get small packets of dressing from your local restaurant supply store. They even have them in fat-free varieties. But of course watch out for carbs. You might consider a thermos of veggie soup or a plate of crudeties with some lc ranch dressing. A small can of tuna in water is good. If you get an insulated bag and put a cold pack in it it should keep everything safe til lunch. Wishing you the best.
