Does anybody know much about the "South Beach Approved" seal of approval on foods? I found a sugar-free SoBe drink that was stamped South Beach Phase 1 approved. Is that ok? I hope so, because I drank it....
I know Crystal Lite is cool, but this I wasn't sure about. I saw it on a package of Boca Burgers too. They can't put that on it if it's not, right? Or am I just horribly naive?? :baby:

We all need to read the ingredient labels of any processed foods that we buy...including the South Beach Kraft foods as they have sugar in some of them and the frozen pizzas are loaded with sodium.

The main premise of this food plan is to eat whole fresh foods as much as possible. Use processed/refined foods when nothing else is available.

I drink Crystal Lite sometimes and also drink 1 glass of diet Pepsi each day. I do not look at food for a SB approval on them...not ever...my approval is more important to me than SB!!

Understood....But all I'm asking is if I can drink it in Phase 1.

As long as its sugar free, it sounds fine to me. What was the drink? You never did say.....

It was SoBe sugar free drink. Tasted a lot like Crystal Lite....and pretty darn good!

Hi!
THURSDAY!!! woo hoo....
Now, I just have to show restraint in not wanting to suck down a bottle of red while eating a bucket of strawberries!

How are you doing?

Well . . . I've decided to play it on the cautious side. I've added berries back to my diet (100g daily) and I'm eating more beans than I did in phase 1 . . . and that's it.

I'll weigh-in again next Monday and if it's gone well, I'll add oatmeal.

The biggest temptation I had was when I bought my groceries on Sunday and couldn't eat the berries until Monday . . .
