Topic: cow's milk info

A friend feels raw cow's milk is healthy. But that grocery
store purchased cow's milk is un-healthy because of the
pasteurization and homogenization processes, and if NOT
organic cow's milk, the addition of bovine growth hormones.

Pasteurization: Pasteurization destroys protective
health-promoting nutrients that are in
milk.

Homogenization: Homogenization makes it easier for the
xanthine oxidase in milk to enter the blood stream. This
enzyme damages arterial walls and causes coronary artery
disease.

Bovine growth Hormones: Bovine growth hormone elevates levels
of another hormone, insulin-like growth factor (not destroyed
by pasteurization) , which causes cells to divide and
potentially become cancerous. End

Name 2.

No, it doesn't. The research that claims it does is unfounded.

Not at all clear that this has any effect on humans who
drink milk.
