I got an exercise bike this after noon for $20. I rode it for 15 min and went for 3 miles. Yippee!!!!I am going to start off slow cause my knee is bad. I tried walking, but the pain was to much. I also got me some 3 pound weights. I am going to do some reps with them.
I got the gel pack for the seat on the bike. Boy am I glad I did that. It made it more comfortable. I am going to try to do another 15 minutes before bed.

Well, DANG! That sounds like one heck of a deal! Where did you find it? (garage sale? or something like that?)

I don't take our newspaper, so I went online and checked the classifieds for our area. The ad was for July 26th. I took a chance and called. They still had it. It isn't a new fangled one. It is a sears brand. It does have an odometer and tells how fast you are going. There was also a glider for $10. I decided to stick with the bike. One thing though, I will take my pain pill about 15 minutes before I do it again.

I have been to the exercise thread? I have been reading the stickey's there. THere are some awesome information on how to do exercises. I am amazed at the wealth of info there. I am printing some of it up to have with me.

I rode my bike again this afternoon. I am surprised at the "burn". It feels good. I was afraid yesterday that I would hurt when I went to bed. I really didn't. I feel as if I accomplished something. Now if I could just get "into" those little weights I bought. I know they are just 3 pounds each, but man they are heavy by the time you do ten reps. Whew.

Every little bit of exercise that you do, goes toward getting rid of those pounds! Awesome job! 3 Miles is great! Keep up the good work and listen to your body, if your knee hurts, maybe skip one day, then get right back on that bike!
